Learning Development Service
The Learning Development team provides service users with a high quality training and education service. The team also increases service users' awareness of the services and opportunities available.
How the team works with service users:
- Referrals will only be accepted from the Keyworker.
- Appointments with service users will be made within 5 working days of receiving the referral form from the Keyworker.
- Individual service users will be supported for a 6 week period. At the end of this period, the service user, their Keyworker and a member of the Learning & Development team will review how the support has impacted on the service user.
- The Learning Development Service keep Information Sheets and other relevant information in SU files. This information is regularly updated.
Service User Involvement
The Specialist Services team:
- Organise two main service users events per year: the Summer Party and the Winter Event, as well as other events
- Produce promotional and informative material for service users and external stakeholders such as leaflets, posters, booklets, Tenants' Handbook etc.
- Facilitate Central Service User Forums and attend regular service user project meetings to inform service users of our activities
- Promote religious and cultural festivals
- Organise training for service users
- Develop and undertake service users satisfaction surveys and produce reports on the results.
