About PRHA

Empowering People

Empowering People

  • We exist to provide housing and support services to people who need to get back on their feet.

  • We aim to improve the quality of life of our service users through empowerment, providing a comprehensive range of services and life opportunities.

  • We work with people with a range of support needs including mental ill-health, substance misuse, offending behaviour, histories of rough sleeping or chronic homelessness,

  • Many of the people we work with have several support needs.

  • Most, but not all, of the people we work with are single.

  • Our subsidiary, the Kipper Project, works specifically with young people including those who are leaving care. Click here for more information about The Kipper Project:  www.kipperproject.org.uk.

  • We work closely with partner agencies such as mental and community health services and the Probation Service. We maintain close links with our sister charity Providence Row (www.providencerow.org.uk), which offers day centre services to homeless people.
